Obituary

Jeremy Matthew Callender , 35, of Schwenksville, PA went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 3, 2021.

He was born in Sellersville, PA to Ann E. (Edwards) Callender of Schwenksville, PA and the late Adrian Callender.

Jeremy graduated from Souderton Area High School, class of 2003. He then graduated from American Military University, class of 2015, with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice.

Jeremy proudly served in logistics for the United States Air Force for 11 years. After serving our country, he worked for the Bureau of Corrections in Graterford, PA.

Jeremy was a member of Genesis Fitness Center in Harleysville. He attended Faith Bible Fellowship Church in Harleysville. Jeremy formerly volunteered at local food pantries and for the Samaritan's Purse.

He loved spending time with his family. Jeremy also loved being in the outdoors enjoying camping, volleyball, exercising, and traveling. He was mentor/coach to other veterans and enjoyed learning about military history. Jeremy loved his Labradoodle, Bella. He was a 3 time combat vet serving 2 tours in Iraq and 1 in Afghanistan.

Jeremy was a thoughtful and caring man who was extremely generous and a loving son, brother, father, and uncle.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his three children - Sydney, Alexis, & Jeremy Matthew II and his four siblings, Nichole A. Swartley & husband, Brian of Souderton, PA, Christian B. Callender & wife, Susan of Lansdale, PA, Kimberly L. Kardos & husband, Chad of Douglassville, PA and Patrick A. Callender & wife, Kerrie-Anne of Foster, NSW, Australia.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Faith Bible Fellowship Church, 140 Harleysville Pike, Harleysville, Pennsylvania 19438 from 10:00 am - 10:45 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am PROMPT.

Burial will take place at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Faith Bible Fellowship Church, 140 Harleysville Pike, Harleysville, PA, 19438.
