John G. Sargent aka Sarg , 74, of Sellersville, PA; formerly of Doylestown, PA, Dublin, PA, and Chalfont, PA went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Grand View Hospital.

He was the loving fiancé of Debora S. Hein for 38 years. John was born in Philadelphia, PA and grew up in Croyden, PA to the late Earl W. Sargent and the late Elizabeth "Betty" (Brown) Sargent.

He graduated from Delhaas High School, Bristol, PA, class of 1965.

John began working as an auto technician and tow truck operator for his father's business "Lettery Garage" in Philadelphia. He then worked as an auto technician for the former O'Connor Ford Truck in Philadelphia and for the former Great Scot! Supermarket in the Bazaar of all Nations in Horsham. John owned and operating a DJ business, S&H DeeJ's in Doylestown and later in Sellersville for 25 years with Debora. He also worked as an auto technician for Werner Motors in Lansdale, PA, Keystone Motors in Doylestown, PA & Lansdale, PA, for Volvo of Ft. Washington, and then for Scott Volvo Cars Allentown in Allentown. John later was employed as a work camper for multiple campgrounds in the Poconos and South Jersey.

He loved camping, traveling in the RV, DJing, fixing cars, building model cars, and watching TV. John enjoyed the classic kung-fu movies and was skilled with his hands in carpentry and electrical. He loved listening to Elvis.

John was very creative and an amazing singer. He was an independent, kind, generous, dependable man who was a true friend and was always willing to help out.

John is survived by his fiancé, Debora S. Hein of Sellersville, PA; his two sons, Wayne E. Sargent of Hatfield, PA, John C. Sargent of Sellersville, PA; his granddaughter, Brittany "Coleen" Kripp & husband, Anthony of Downingtown, PA; his five grandsons, Timothy Fitzpatrick of Limerick, PA, Michael Fitzpatrick of Douglassville, PA, Brendan Fitzpatrick & wife, Margaret "Maggie" of Pottstown, PA, Trevor Hanna of Branson, MO, Gavyn Foore of Sellersville, PA; his great-grandson, Mason Kripp of Downingtown, PA; his great-granddaughter, Madison Kripp of Downingtown, PA; his two step-sons, Patrick S. Hein of East Greenville, PA, Brion T. Hein & wife, Kathy of Sellersville, PA; his three step-granddaughters, Kasey M. Hein of Sellersville, PA, MacKenzie Hein of Upper Salford Twp, PA, Zaida E. Hein of Sellersville, PA; his step-grandson, Patrick R. Hein of Upper Salford Twp, PA; and his two brothers, Walter Sargent of Philadelphia, PA and James Sargent of TX.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Elizabeth Ann Fitzpatrick and his two brothers, Earl J. Sargent & Edward Sargent.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.
