Obituary

John A. Serafini , 87, of Perkasie, PA went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at his residence.

He was the loving husband of Barbara (Hammond) Serafini for 65 years. John was born in Binghamton, New York to the late Lawrence G. Serafini and Mary Rose (Peleggi) Serafini.

A graduate of Manlius Military Academy class of 1952, he then attended Georgetown University and was a graduate of State University of New York, Harper College with a BA in Business Administration.

Prior to retirement he was employed as Chief Financial Officer for Marcus Enterprises, Lisbon Contractors for more than 20 years.

Knight of Columbus, Binghamton, NY.

John was strong in his faith. He was a member and deacon for Our Lady of Czestochowa, Doylestown, PA.

John was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

He traveled to North and South America and enjoyed cruises to Caribbean. John was an avid baseball & football fan, who followed the NY Yankees, Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles. He enjoyed fishing in his early years, he was witty and humorous. He loved to cook and especially enjoyed having family close by and family dinner get togethers.

In addition to his wife , Barbara, he is survived by his four daughters, Lineece O'Dell and husband Ronald of Peach Tree City, GA, Tamara M. Serafini of Perkasie, PA, Ann D. Worth  and Stephen Worth of Doylestown, PA, and Cara M. Haskell and husband Mark of Sellersville, PA; his son, John A. Serafini and wife Lisa of Perkasie, PA; 11 grandchildren, Lee, Robbie, Jenny, Josh, Lisa, Brielle, Stevie, Kristen, Rachel, Isabella and Sophia. His 9 great-grandchildren, Cole, Connor, Nora, Emmet, Niko, Maximus, Elias, Mia, Anthony. John is also survived by his brother, Joseph Serafini of Estero, FL.

He was preceded in death by his brother, William Serafini.
