John "Jack" Talbot , 85, of Souderton, formerly of Manayunk, PA passed away peacefully on Friday, February 25, 2022 at his residence.

He was the loving husband of Marion M. Talbot for 60 years. John was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late John Talbot and the late Viola (Ryder) Talbot.

John was employed as a Police Officer in Philadelphia for 20 years.

He was a member of the FOP, Philadelphia.  He was a member of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church.

He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

John enjoyed fishing with his family and friends, he was also an avid baseball collector.

In addition to his wife Marion, he is by his daughter, Ruth Talbot of Sellersville, PA; his three grandchildren, Michael, Matthew and Anna, His five great grandchildren, Sofia, Michael, Olivia, Ava and Brandon.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 14th, 2022 at 10:30 am at Anders-Detweiler Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 E. Broad St., Souderton, Pennsylvania 18964.

Burial will take place at Westminster Cemetery, Bala Cynwyd, PA.
