John A. Turner , 38, of Sellersville, PA passed away unexpectedly in his home on Monday, May 17, 2021.

John was born in Abington, PA to the late James A. Turner Jr. and Joanne (Gruss) Turner of Colmar. PA

A graduate of Lansdale Catholic class of 2000, he then received his BA in Business Logistics from Penn State University in 2004.  John then followed his passion for cooking and graduated from the Art Institute of Philadelphia, with a degree in Culinary Arts.

John was a co-owner of James A. Turner INC and Souderton Truck Center, a company that was started in Ambler by his Grandfather.

He was a member of the Souderton and Harleysville Rod & Gun club where John got to combine his passions for Hunting and Cooking.  John was also a member of the Indian Valley Chamber Of Commerce.  John was a traveler, chef, hunter, loyal friend and a man of many talents.

In addition to his mother Joanne, he is survived by his brother, James A. Turner III, his wife  Rosane of Telford, PA; his sister, Jaclyn M. Toro, her husband Leonardo of Quakertown, PA; his maternal grandmother, Joyce Gruss of Pittsburgh, PA and his paternal grandfather, James A Turner, Sr. of Sellersville, PA; He is survived by his faithful dogs, Hooch (4) and Stella (2).

Relatives and friends may meet with the family on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Anders-Detweiler Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 E. Broad St., Souderton, PA from 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm.  We will follow with a "Celebration of Life" at 5pm at ParmaJohn's at 779 Route 113 in Souderton.  We would like to invite friends to share stories of John at this celebration.

In lieu of flowers, John was extremely concerned with the preservation of African Elephants.  Any donations will be sent to this cause.
