Joseph "Joe" James Vesci, Sr. , 63, of Hatfield, PA passed away surrounded by Deb, Joe, Jr., and Nick on Friday, April 26th, 2024.

Joe was the loving husband of Deborah "Deb" (Mast) Vesci for 25 years. He was born in Germantown, PA to the late Francis J. Vesci, Sr. and the late Elizabeth J. (O'Reilly) Vesci.

He was a graduate of the Archbishop Wood High School in Warminster, PA class of 1977.  Throughout his working lifetime, Joe was the owner and operator of Joe Vesci Auto Body & Son in Lansdale, PA.

Joe was a devoted husband and father. He was looking forward to his newest role as Pop-Pop. Joe enjoyed restoring and collecting cars and was an avid Patriots fan. He appreciated a good laugh, especially while watching The Three Stooges. He spent many relaxing vacations with his family in New Jersey, attending the Wildwood Classic Car Show.

In addition to his wife, Deb, he is survived by his two sons, Joseph "Joe" J. Vesci, Jr. and wife, Michelle of Quakertown, PA and Nicholas "Nick" V. Vesci and wife, Melissa of Harleysville, PA; his granddaughter, Vincenza Rose Vesci; his two sisters, Kathy Pokropski and husband, Dennis of Doylestown, PA and Pat Carr of Blue Bell, PA; and his brother, Frank Vesci of Warrington, PA.

In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his brother, James Smyth and his sister, Connie Smyth.

A visitation will be held on Monday, May 6, 2024 at Anders-Detweiler Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 E. Broad St., Souderton, PA 18964 from 9:00 to 11:00 am, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 11:00 am.

Burial will take place at Whitemarsh Memorial Park in Ambler, PA.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Joe's memory to The Museum of Three Stooges Memorabilia (The Stoogeum).
