Josephine "Nanny" (Kukowski) Lenhart , 92, of Harleysville, PA; formerly of Perkasie, PA passed away on Sunday, August 27, 2023 at Souderton Mennonite Homes.

Josephine was the wife of the late John Jarema and the late Thomas Earl Lenhart. She was born in Sellersville, PA to the late Joseph Kukowski and the late Margaret (Clementson) Kukowski.

Josephine was employed as a seamstress for the former Royal Pants Factory in Perkasie, PA. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Woman's Club of Perkasie, PA.

Josephine loved sewing and it was a big part of her life. She enjoyed crafting and selling her items at craft shows. Josephine enjoyed going to flea markets, yard sales, shopping, clothes, and jewelry. She loved spending time her granddaughter, Jodi.

Josephine was a generous, spirited, energetic woman who was always on the go and had a good sense of humor.

She is survived by her granddaughter, Jodi Rae Jarema of Green Lane, PA; her sister, Margaret "Peggy" Bader of St. Augustine, FL; and her daughter-in-law, Raeann Deily of Green Lane, PA.

In addition to her parents and husbands, Josephine was preceded in death by her son, John Jarema; her daughter, Linda Ring; her brother, Joseph Kukowski, Jr. and her sister, Anna Lederach.

At the request of Josephine, there will be NO services.
