June Huddle Histand , 81, of Lower Gwynedd, PA; formerly of New Britain, PA entered into rest on Friday, December 1, 2023 at Springhouse Estates.

June was born in Doylestown, PA to the late Daniel L. Histand and the late Nora (Huddle) Histand.

She attended Christopher Dock High School in Lansdale, PA and later received her GED from Central Bucks School District in Doylestown, PA.

June worked as a bank teller for the former Bucks County Bank (now known as Wells Fargo) in Doylestown, PA. During this time, she also worked as a bookkeeper for small private businesses in the local area. June then worked as a nurses aide for ACTS Community in Lower Gwynedd, PA for 15 years. During this time, she also worked as a nurses aide for the Pine Run Retirement Community (now known as Pine Run Village Health Center) in Doylestown.

June was a lifetime member of the Doylestown Mennonite Church. She was also a member of a woman's sextet for the Life With God Broadcast.

June loved her family, singing, and getting together with her siblings and cousins. In her younger years, she enjoyed riding bicycles, traveling, the beach, and she was known for driving her Volkswagen beetles.

June was an independent, trustworthy, loving woman who cared deeply for her family.

She is survived by her sister, Nancy Kulp of Myerstown, PA and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by her sister, Edna Breuil; her brother, John Histand; her two sisters, Lena Hunsberger & Mary Reinford; her brother, Herbert Histand; her sister, Mabel Detweiler; and her three brothers, Walter, Norman, & Robert Histand.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on January 21, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Doylestown Mennonite Church, 590 N. Broad St., Doylestown, PA 18901.

Inurnment will take place at Doylestown Mennonite Cemetery.
