Obituary

Kathleen "Kass" Joan (McGeehan) Beers , 91, of Richlandtown, Pennsylvania, formerly of Perkasie and Hatboro, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 19, 2026, at St. Luke's Hospital–Quakertown.

Born in the Bronx, New York, Kathleen was the daughter of the late Anthony McGeehan and the late Bridget (Joyce) McGeehan. She was the beloved wife of the late Patrick J. Bolton, with whom she shared 20 years of marriage.

Kathleen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose greatest joy in life was her family. She cherished every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, creating lasting memories through family gatherings, traditions, and her unwavering love and support.

She enjoyed many simple pleasures throughout her life, including reading, crocheting, playing Keno, and visiting the casino. Kathleen loved spending time at her favorite beach in Wildwood, New Jersey, taking walks, swimming, watching golf on television, playing Rummy, and working on puzzles. She was also known for baking her cherished Rustic Irish Soda Bread and enjoyed traveling whenever she had the opportunity.

Kathleen will be remembered as a loving, caring, supportive, and resilient woman whose strong Irish spirit earned her the title of an "Irish warrior." Though wonderfully stubborn at times, her kindness, strength, and generous heart touched all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughters, Kathryn "Cathy" Mary Smith of Pottstown, PA, and Patricia "Pat" A. Scheip and her husband, Steve, of Souderton, PA; her son, Richard "Rick" Patrick Bolton and his wife, Tracey, of Quakertown, PA; her grandchildren, Tina and Michael Endrick, Brandon Bolton and wife Alisa, Patrick Scheip, and Bridget Bolton; her great-grandchildren, Michael Endrick Jr., Mackenzie, Julian, and Dylan Smith, and Hazel Bolton; her sister, Eileen Perri of Norristown, PA; and her sister-in-law, Helen McGeehan of Cinnaminson, NJ.

In addition to her parents and husband, Kathleen was preceded in death by her beloved grandson, Jason A. Smith, and her brother, John McGeehan.
