Lance E. Stauffer , 58, of Perkasie, PA, passed away suddenly on March 16, 2021 while on a road trip to NY to buy a motorcycle with a friend.

He is survived by his children: Jena Warren and her husband Justin, of Perkasie, PA; Darbi Stauffer of Corvallis, OR; and Jackson (Paige) Stauffer of Perkasie, PA; as well as his former wife Kimberly Young of Perkasie, PA and a large extended family of 6 siblings and many nieces and nephews. He grew up in Palm, PA, a son of the late Ambrose and Jane (Smith) Stauffer.

In addition to his children and family, Lance loved riding motorcycles, buying old crappy motorcycles, wearing only Harley-Davidson brand t-shirts, "crying movies" and a really good nap.

He was a member of the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) as well as the local AMA District 6 flat track racing association for over 40 years. Lance and his brothers raced bikes since childhood and continued to be a staple at local races through last season.

A kind and generous man who loved to joke, laugh and hug everybody, he would always jump at an opportunity to help a friend. Just don't let him cook for you, it was probably a hazard to your health.

Lance graduated from Upper Perkiomen High School – Class of 1981. He worked in the heavy equipment industry for most of his nearly 40-year career, including long periods at Plasterer Equipment, Trico Equipment and Conti Enterprises.

A celebration of life service will take place at a future date to be announced.
