Larene (Carr) Cassel , 69, of Lansdale, PA passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021 at her residence.

She was born in McKeesport, PA to the late Eugene Carr and the late Adaline (Zimdahl) Carr.

Larene graduated from Hatboro-Horsham High School, class of 1969. She worked for more than 40 years at the former Prudential Insurance (now known as Aetna) in Horsham, PA, until retiring in 2016. Larene was a devoted mother and grandmother.

Larene was an avid reader of fiction books. She enjoyed decorating her house, watching TV, and dining out for breakfast.

Larene was a hardworking, dedicated, caring woman who enjoyed a good laugh.

She is survived by her two sons, Ralph Cassel of Lansdale, PA & Robert Cassel & wife, Rachel of Perkasie, PA; her four grandchildren – Carmondy, Rosamonde, Broderick, & Carrington; her sister, Mary Morton & husband, Frank of Elizabethtown, PA; and her brother, Chuck Carr of Scottsdale, AZ.

In addition to her parents, Larene was preceded in death by her brother, Eugene Carr; her twin sister, Arlene Daniels; and her brother-in-law, Paul Daniels.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
