Larry Frederick , 79, of Telford, PA, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Grand View Hospital, Sellersville, PA.

He was the loving husband of Jean Ann (Magargal) Frederick for 58 years. Larry was born in Sellersville, PA to the late John Moyer Frederick and Catharine (Miller) Frederick-Keller.

He graduated from Souderton High School, class of 1960. Larry then attended Tri-City Barber School, Philadelphia, PA. He opened his own barber shop in Telford in 1967. Larry was a registered Barber Teacher which allowed him to bring both his son and daughter into the business. Larry Jr. worked with him from 1980 until his passing in 1991. Lori then came into the barbershop and has been cutting hair alongside her father for the last 30 years. She plans on keeping the shop open to continue his legacy.

Larry was a former member of the Indian Valley Country Club, Telford, where he enjoyed both golf and his fellow members. He was a charter member of Genesis Fitness Center, Souderton, PA. As a charter member, he was one of the original members starting back in 1985. Larry kept his membership active, and was a regular with the after lunch crowd.

He was an active member of Immanuel Leidy's Church, serving on the consistory and the ushers committee.

Larry was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, who anticipated the birth of his first great- grand child in December. He enjoyed hunting and spending time at his cabin in Wyoming County with his family. Larry took great pride in the fact that the cabin was built with love by the entire family. Even though he was going on 80, he loved and looked forward to serving his customers at the barber shop. Larry was happiest, when he was able to joke and carry on a fun conversation with others.

In addition to his wife Jean, he is survived by his daughter, Lori J. McCoach and her husband David of Perkiomenville, PA; his granddaughter, Courtney J. Clemens and her husband Chad of Perkiomenville, PA and his grandson, Connor D. McCoach and his wife Nicole of Charlotte, NC; his step-sister, Arlene Freed and husband William of Telford, PA; along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son in 1991, John Lawrence Frederick, Jr. and his Step-Father, Cyrenius Keller

A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Immanuel Leidy's Church, 273 W. Cherry Lane, Souderton, PA 18964, where friends may meet with the family from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. A memorial service will begin at 11:00 am. Live streaming will be available.

Inurnment will take place at Immanuel Leidy's Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory, to a charity of one's choice.
