Larry Steven Runk , 74, of Sellersville, formerly of Yardley-Newtown, PA passed away on Monday, August 3, 2020 at his residence after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.

He was the loving husband of the late Andrea Lee (Calupca) Runk. Larry was born in Huntingdon, PA to the late Glen Runk and the late Helen (Smyers) Rhone.

A graduate of Captain Jack High School class of 1963, Larry graduated from Penn College in Williamsport, PA. Early in his career, he worked at US Steel in Fairless Hills, PA. For nearly 40 years, he worked as a Test Engineer at Lockheed Martin in Moorestown, NJ and Newtown, PA. He retired in 2016.

Larry was a devoted husband, father and grandfather, dedicating his life to his work and his family. His family was the center of his world. For nearly five years, he took care of his beloved Andrea, with whom he enjoyed 55 years of marriage, throughout her battle with Primary Progressive Aphasia.

A lifelong car enthusiast and world-class "tinkerer," Larry recently discovered pickleball and enjoyed playing with new friends and neighbors at the Indian Valley YMCA.

He is survived by his daughter, Kimberly A. (Patrick) DiGangi of Doylestown, PA; his two sons, Andrew Steven (Nicole) Runk of Chalfont, PA and Matthew M. (Ellen) Runk of Telford, PA; his six grandchildren, Luke, Kira, Nathan, Avery, Jason & Madelyn. and his sister, Glenda Jones of Rockingham, VA.

Burial will take place at St. Catherine's Cemetery in Shirleysburg, PA.
