Lewis R. Roberts, Jr. , 94, of Souderton, PA; formerly of Sellersville, PA entered into rest on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at Pennsburg Manor.

He was the loving husband of the late Shirley Ann (Greiser) Roberts for 60 years. Lewis was born in Sellersville, PA to the late Lewis O. Roberts and the late Elma (Wolf) Roberts.

Lewis held various jobs at local business in the area. He was then employed as a materials handler for the former Delbar, Inc. in Perkasie for 35 years.

In his younger years, Lewis enjoyed traveling with his family to Florida during the winter, camping, and annual trips to Knoebels. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends. He enjoyed going out for breakfast, walks, watching TV, and repairing bicycles.

Lewis was a caring, fun, loving man who had a good sense of humor.

He is survived by his two daughters, Linda A. Schmidt & husband, Mark of Gilbertsville, PA, Carol A. Roberts of Souderton, PA; his five grandchildren – Melissa, Michael, Timothy, Brentin, & Shawn; and his seven great-grandchildren – Kailey, Alexis, Jackson, Elliot, Marley, Landon, & Rylee.

In addition to his parents and wife, Lewis was preceded in death by his three sisters, Marion Markley, Esther Shelly, Shirley Schnable and his Brother, Arthur Roberts.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Anders-Detweiler Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 E. Broad St., Souderton, PA 18964 from 9:00 am - 11:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am.

Burial will take place at Sellersville Cemetery.
