Linda (Alderfer) Grasse , 79, of Souderton, PA; formerly of Telford, PA & Chambersburg, PA went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Souderton Mennonite Homes.

Linda was the loving wife of the late Warren L. Grasse for 52 years. She was born in Sellersville, PA to the late Henry R. Alderfer and the late Catherine T. (Greaser) Alderfer.

Linda graduated from Pennridge High School, class of 1961 and briefly attended Goshen College. After marriage, she and her husband served with the Mennonite Central Committee as missionaries in Nigeria for 3 years. While Warren was completing his degree at Eastern Mennonite College, Linda worked to support his education. She then worked as legal secretary for a law firm in the Lansdale area. Linda was employed as an administrative assistant at Pennview Christian School for 13 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

Linda was a member of Indian Valley Faith Fellowship in Harleysville where she served as a deaconess, nursery volunteer, sang in the choir, and belonged to the woman's service group 'Women in Mission'. Linda was an integral part of the Souderton Mennonite Homes Residential Committee where she was known to welcome and interact, especially with new residents. She volunteered at the Care & Share Thrift Shoppes in Souderton.

Linda loved providing extensive care for her grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling, flower & vegetable gardening, scrapbooking, and needlework crafts. Linda was an avid reader. She also enjoyed being in the outdoors with family, especially camping and boating.

Linda was a God-honoring, loyal, gracious, caring, steadfast woman of integrity who had meticulous organizational skills.

She is survived by her two daughters, Melanie L. Anders & husband, Steven of Telford, PA, Lorina D. Hunsberger & husband, Travis of Telford, PA; her seven grandchildren – Wade, Ashlyn, Josie, Reese, Marley, Audyn & Rylan; and her sister, Doreen Clemmer & husband, Leroy of Souderton, PA.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Indian Valley Faith Fellowship, 190 Maple Ave, Harleysville, Pennsylvania 19438 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022 at 10:30 am at Indian Valley Faith Fellowship, 190 Maple Ave, Harleysville, Pennsylvania 19438.

Inurnment will take place at Zion Memorial Gardens.
