Linda Briggs (Permar) Weber , 74, of Hilltown, formerly of Buckingham, PA passed away on Wednesday, August 24th, 2022 at Neshaminy Manor, Warrington, PA, after a courageous battle with ALS.
She was the loving companion of Robert Chambers for 18 years. Linda was born in Doylestown, PA to the late Ralph J. Permar and Kathryn Briggs (Smith) Permar, of Doylestown, PA.
Linda graduated from Council Rock High School, Newtown, PA, class of 1965. She then furthered her education and graduated from Elizabethtown College, Elizabethtown, PA class of 1969. Linda was employed as a Teacher for the Richboro Elementary School for 5 years following her graduation.
Linda was Supervisor of Admissions, Office of Bucks County Community College, Newtown, PA for 25 years retiring in 2014.
She enjoyed riding horses around Solebury, Jericho and Upper Makefield Twp. Her hobbies included working with fine metals, reading, gardening and enjoying the beautiful outdoors. Linda also volunteered at the Care and Share Shoppes, Souderton, PA.
In addition to her companion, Robert W. Chambers of Hilltown, PA., she is survived by her two sons, Christopher B. Weber & wife Pamela of Lansdale, PA; and Matthew J. Weber & his fiancée Jennifer, Perkasie, PA; her two granddaughters, Michelle Brooke Weber and April Marin Weber; her two brothers, Ralph J. Permar Jr. & wife Linda. of Old Zionsville, PA, and Terry L. Permar & wife Kimberly of Perkasie, PA.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 9th, 2022 at 11:00 am at The Wrightstown Friends Meeting House, 554 Penns Park Road and Route 413, Newtown, PA. 18940
In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to; ALS Association, Greater Philadelphia Chapter, 321 Norristown Road, Suite 260, Ambler, PA 19002
