Lori Robin (Houpt) Herpel , 62, of Pennsburg, PA; formerly of Whitehall, PA went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at Pennsburg Manor.
Lori was born in Sellersville, PA to Ruth Agnes (Bolton) Houpt and the late Clyde Walter Houpt.
She graduated from Southern Lehigh High School, Center Valley, PA, class of 1979. She also graduated from Jan Nagy Modeling Finishing School.
Throughout her life, Lori worked in the bakery at Quakertown Farmer's Market followed by the former Fashion Bug in Quakertown, PA where she worked as a saleswoman. Lori then went on to work as a teller and loan officer for PNC Bank in Allentown, PA. Lastly, Lori was employed as a Teller for First Commonwealth Federal Credit Union, Allentown, PA.
Lori was an attender of Perkiomenville Mennonite Church.
She was a devoted mother that cared greatly for her family. During her free time, Lori enjoyed chair caning, gardening, photography, and always held a deep and extraordinary love in her heart for her dogs. She will be fondly remembered as a caring woman that was always compassionate towards others and had a wonderful sense of humor.
Lori is survived by her two sons, Lucas Herpel, and wife Lisa of Fountain Hill, PA, and Lee Herpel of Whitehall, PA; her grandson, Grayson Herpel of Fountain Hill, PA; her brother, Timothy Walter Houpt, and wife Cyndie of Breinigsville, PA; and her two Sisters, Kathy Ann Rupert, and husband Richard of Green Lane, PA, and Susan Dawn Panzarella of Slatington, PA;
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Perkiomenville Mennonite Church, 1836 Gravel Pike, Perkiomenville, PA 18074 from 9:00 am followed by a Memorial Service at 10:00 am.
Burial will take place at Whitemarsh Memorial Park.
