Lucille (Nyce) Detwiler , 84, of Souderton, PA went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 19, 2022 at the Souderton Mennonite Homes.

She was the loving wife of the late James L. Detwiler. Lucy was born in Sellersville, PA to the late Linford Nyce and the late Margaret (Moyer) Nyce.

She received her LPN license from Graduate Hospital, Philadelphia. PA.

Lucy was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse for Manor Care Health, Huntington Valley, PA, and also served several years at Grand View Hospital, Sellersville, PA.

She was a life member of Salford Mennonite Church and volunteered for GVH Hospice.

Lucy was an avid reader.

She is survived by her two nieces, Pam Miller & husband Scott of Telford, PA and Bonnie Janzen & Husband Steve of Kansas, her nephew, Barry Nyce of Quakertown, PA and her

Sister-in-law, Gladys Nyce of Souderton, PA.

In addition to her husband, James she was preceded in death by her three brothers, Sam, Kerry and John Nyce.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at 11:00 am at Salford Mennonite Church, 480 Groff's Mill Road, Harleysville, PA. 19438. Family will receive guests from 10:30 am to time of service.
