Marcus "Marc" L. Rosenberger , 93, of Souderton, PA entered into rest on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at Souderton Mennonite Homes.
Marcus was the husband of the late Evelyn Blanche (Grasse) Rosenberger for 65 years. He was born in Hatfield, PA to the late Raymond H. Rosenberger and the late Sallie (Landis) Rosenberger.
Marcus attended Hatfield School and later received his Graduate Equivalence Degree. He later attended Temple University. Throughout his working lifetime, he was the co-owner of Rosenberger's Dairies in Hatfield, PA.
Marcus was a member of Blooming Glen Mennonite Church where he served as a trustee, on the stewardship committee, and sang with the church choir.
He was a member and volunteer of the Souderton-Telford Rotary Club, the Indian Valley Arts, and Souderton Concert Sundaes. Served as Trustree at Fricks Church.
Marcus loved singing, music, and raspberry ice-cream. He enjoyed traveling to Europe, Africa, and Mexico. He also loved spending time in Ocean City, NJ and wintering in Florida.
Marcus was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was a hardworking, sociable, and friendly man.
He is survived by his three children, M. Jeffrey Rosenberger & wife, Jane of Souderton, PA, Jennifer L. Sigmans & husband, William of Perkasie, PA, and M. Thomas Rosenberger & wife, Dorine of Souderton, PA; his nine grandchildren; his 19 great-grandchildren; his five siblings, Gladys Grasse & husband, Willard of Souderton, PA, Mary Newcomer of West Liberty, OH, Henry Rosenberger & wife, Charlotte of Blooming Glen, PA, James Rosenberger & wife, Gloria of State College, PA, Sally Harshbarger & husband, Paul of Middlebury, IN; his brother-in-law, Carl Derstine of Wilmington, NC; and family friends, Harmon DeJong & wife, Rieme of the Netherlands, Howard Crabbe & wife, Belinda of Philadelphia, PA.
In addition to his parents and wife, Marcus was preceded in death by his four siblings, Mildred Burkholder, William Rosenberger, Arlene Rosenberger, and Susan Derstine.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, July 5, 2024 at 2:00 at Blooming Glen Mennonite Church, 713 Blooming Glen Road, Blooming Glen, PA 18911, followed by an informal visitation. The service will be livestreamed.
A private burial will take place at Blooming Glen Mennonite Church Cemetery.
