Margaret "Marge" M. (Slavin) Barrett , 86, of Souderton, PA; formerly of Wildwood, NJ passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022 at LifeQuest Nursing Center in Quakertown, PA.

She was the loving wife of John J. Barrett for 62 years. Marge was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Thomas Joseph Slavin and the late Anna (McKenna) Slavin.

She graduated from West Catholic Girls High School in Philadelphia, class of 1953. Marge was employed as a Teacher's Aide for William Penn School District in Delaware County, PA for 14 years.

She was an avid reader and walker. Marge loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Marge was a caring, compassionate, loving woman who had a great sense of humor.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Thomas J. Barrett & fiancé, Christina Zullo of Aston, PA; her two daughters, Carol B. Dickerson & husband, Timothy of Quakertown, PA, Maureen B. Lingle & husband, David of Eastville, VA; her six grandchildren – Haley, Connor, Zachary, Josh, Adam, & Mary; and her three sisters, Betty Melli of Wilmington, DE, Rita Matthews & husband, Charles of Warminster, PA, and Kathleen Mason of Elverson, PA.
