Margaret M. (Eckert) Mace, 92, of Sellersville, PA entered into rest on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at The Community at Rockhill, Sellersville, PA.
She was the loving wife of the late Howard E. Mace Jr. for 63 years. Margaret was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Arthur P. Eckert and Margaret M. (Gabel) Eckert.
She graduated from Springfield Township High School Class of 1949.
Margaret was a member of the Dublin Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and Pennridge Community Center.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who loved to bake, make candy, decorate cakes, sew, make crafts, and spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Margaret was an avid sports fan, whether it was baseball, football or basketball, she loved sports. If she wasn't watching sports, you would find her playing Bingo or on the slot machines. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports. Margaret was known to her friends as "Marge," but her family called her "Mam," "Mammy" or "The Genius."
She is survived by her three daughters: Sheryl L. Wilson & husband Donald of Perkasie, PA, Debra E. Halteman & husband Brandon of Line Lexington, PA, and Dawn E. Cox & husband Ronald of Perkasie, PA; and her five grandchildren: Kimberli, Koressa, Abigail, Taylor, and Anthony.
In addition to her husband Howard, Jr., she was preceded in death by her brother, Arthur Eckert, and two sisters, Dolores DeCaro and Josephine Eckert.
Private services will be held by the family.
