Obituary

Margarita M. Bonilla Ramos , 78, of Ottsville, formerly of Telford, PA went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 22nd, 2021 at Abington Memorial Hospital, Abington, PA.

She was the loving wife of Jose F. Ramos with whom she celebrated 49 years of marriage. Margarita was born in Joateca, Morazan in El Salvador to the late Martin Bonilla and the late Maria Barbara Argueta Bonilla.

Margarita was a devoted and affectionate wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and baking, and will be known for sewing, crocheting and her herb garden and lovely flowers. Above all, she passionately loved spending time with family hosting the ones here in the States and visiting her extended family in El Salvador. Her spiritual gift was serving and she loved to help those in need. She unselfishly loved everyone no matter their age or culture; language was never a barrier for her. She was a people person. Margarita deeply loved the Lord and you can often find her humming to hymns throughout the house and praying for each of her kids, grandkids, and other family and friends in her prayer/sewing room.

In addition to her husband Jose, she is survived by her two sons, Santos V. Ramos and Maira of Upper Darby, PA, and Reynaldo Ramos, Sr. and wife Jaselyn of Sellersville, PA; her daughter, Emma Ramos-Coale and husband Justin of Ottsville, PA; her 8 grandchildren, Jocelyn, Jacqueline, Jessica, Reynaldo, Jr., Jayden, Vallery, Frank Anthony and Matthew, her two great-grandchildren, Nayomi and Jaycob; her daughter in law, Maria Ana of Souderton, PA; her brothers, Rufino Bonilla of Houston, TX, and Gerardo Bonilla of Houston, TX. ; her siblings living in El Salvador, Juan, Victorino, Jose Demetrio, Carmen, Teresa and Manuel she was preceded in death her two infants, Jose Santos and Paula Estela. And by three sibling Eugenia, Gumersindo and Albertina Bonilla.

A viewing will be held on Friday, January 29th, 2021 at Immanuel Leidy's Church, 273 W. Cherry Lane, Souderton, PA 18964 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. A funeral service will follow at 11AM.

Burial will take place at Immanuel Leidy's Church Cemetery.

Más que todo, ella apasionadamente amaba pasar tiempo con su familia atendiendo en su casa a los que viven aquí en los Estados Unidos y visitando a su familia extendida en El Salvador. Su regalo espiritual era servir generosamente a los demás y le encantaba ayudar aquellos con necesidad. Ella fue precedida en la muerte por sus dos infantes, Jose Santos y Paula Estela y por su tres hermanos Eugenia, Gumersindo, y Albertina Bonilla.

La velación será el viernes, Enero 29, 2021 en Immanuel Leidy's Church, 273 W. Cherry Lane, Souderton, Pa 18964 de las 9:00am a las 11:00am. El servicio fúnebre empezara a las 11:00am.

El entierro será en el Cementerio de Immanuel Leidy's Church.
