Maria (Rodriguez) Norfleet , 50, of Souderton, PA formerly of Bronx-Brooklyn, NY passed away following an illness of several months surrounded by her loving husband and daughter on Saturday, February 19th, 2022 at Grand View Hospital, Sellersville, PA.

She was the loving wife of Maurice N. Norfleet for 24 years. Maria was born in Bronx, New York to Arturo and Flor Rodriguez in Bronx, NY.

She was a graduate of Stevenson High School in Bronx, NY class of 1989. Maria also graduated from the New York School of Culinary Arts. For several years, she was employed by the Waldorf Astoria, NYC. In 2017 she moved to the Souderton area and was then employed by Whole Foods, Ambler, PA.

Maria was a loving, devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking and painting with water colors. She and her husband Maurice were married in the Bahamas in 1997. They also enjoyed trip to the Los Vegas Area in 2017.

In addition to her husband, Maurice, she is survived by her daughter, Amaris King of Clifton, NJ; her brother, David Rodriquez and wife, Lilly of Manahattan, NY; and her two grandchildren, Raven and Leara Gonzalez.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 2nd, 2022 at Anders-Detweiler Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 E. Broad St., Souderton, PA 18964 from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm.
