Marilyn E. Bowers, 7 9, died peacefully on December 16, 2021 at St. Lukes Hospital, Bethlehem, PA.

She was born in Abington and moved with her parents and 4 siblings to a dairy farm in Plumsteadville where she learned to love the beauty of nature and animals.

Marilyn was a graduate of Pennridge High School class of 1959 and Lansdale School of Business.  She worked as a secretary for many years. In later years Marilyn worked as a Home Health Aide.

She lived in many houses and always planted many flowers around the property, as she had such a love of the outdoors. Dogs and cats played a large part in her life. Marilyn happily spoiled them and got their devotion in return.

Marilyn was predeceased by her parents Doris and Dudley (Yearsley) Winter, Sr., and her younger brother Thomas.

She is survived by her daughter Traci Isabella, and her son Brad Bowers and his wife Dana, her grandson Dallas, as well as her brother Dudley, Jr and two sisters Judith and Dorothy. She has 11 nieces and nephews and 11 great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Marilyn will be held on Monday, December 27, 2021, at 11:00AM at Anders-Detweiler Funeral home on 130 E. Broad St. Souderton PA 18964.
