Obituary

Marilyn C. (Moyer) Konsowitz , 88, of Pottstown, PA; formerly of Perkasie, PA & Warrington, PA passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at Northside Hospital Forsyth in Cumming, GA.

She was the loving wife of the late John Konsowitz for 31 years. Marilyn was born in Lansdale, Pennsylvania to the late Matthias Moyer and the late Bertha (Crouthamel) Moyer.

Marilyn graduated from Sell-Perk High School, class of 1953, and Lansdale Business School. She was employed as a secretary for Williard Inc., Jenkintown, PA.

She was a member of St. Stephen's United Church of Christ in Perkasie, PA and later a member of Neshaminy-Warwick Presbyterian Church in Warminster, PA.

Marilyn always cherished spending time with her family and friends.  She was involved with the community through various volunteer work, serving with the Warrington Township Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary (10+ years).  She also spent time volunteering with the American Red Cross, NAMI, and others.  After raising her children, she enjoyed taking trips with her husband.  Over the years, she also had a special place in her heart for her adopted cats.

She is survived by her son, Timothy (Karen) of Suwanee, GA; and her two grandsons, John (Alana) & Joel (Jill) both of Marietta, GA.  Along with her immediate family, she has many nieces, nephews, and cousins that she loved dearly.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Thomas.

A Graveside Memorial Service will be held on December 18, 2023 (1:45pm), at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, Pennsylvania 19002.

Burial will take place at Whitemarsh Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to: Montgomery County SPCA, Saint Jude, or NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
