Marilynn Ann (Millard) Lutz-Zapf , 85, of Perkasie, PA; formerly of Warrington, Souderton, & Lansdale went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Nazareth Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.

She was the loving wife of the late Walter Allen Lutz, Sr. for 26 years and the late Lothar "Lou" Zapf for 15 years. Marilynn was born in Riverside, NJ to the late David Millard and the late Evelyn (Moore) Millard.

She graduated from North Penn High School in Lansdale, class of 1956. Marilynn worked as an Air Force Intelligence Operative for the United States Air Force. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Marilynn was a Cub Scout den mother of BS Troop #137 in Warrington, PA. She was a former member of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church in Warrington, PA and a current member of Zoe Christian Fellowship in Warrington, PA.

Marilynn loved spending time with her grandchildren and her great-grandchild. She also loved Jesus and Christian music. Marilynn had a deep love for all animals, especially her dogs, Kiwi, Sherry, Bootsie, & Snowy. She enjoyed feeding the birds, tending to her flowers, and gardening in the yard. Marilynn formerly played on a bowling league for Hope Industries of Willow Grove, PA. She enjoyed collecting stamps, coins, Norman Rockwell plates, Hummel figurines. Marilynn loved listening to classical music, watching musicals, and her favorite was The Sound of Music. She enjoyed crafts, word search puzzles, and Scrabble.

Marilynn was a caring, compassionate, intelligent woman who had a strong faith and a good sense of humor.

She is survived by her daughter, Donnamarie Lutz of Perkasie, PA; her son, Walter Allen Lutz, Jr. of Los Angeles, CA; her grandson, Joseph Michael Finger of Perkasie, PA; her granddaughter, Jessica Marie Finger of Philadelphia, PA; her great-granddaughter, Lanna Hait of Philadelphia, PA; her two step-sons, Raymond John Zapf & wife, Angela of Sellersville, PA, Anthony Thomas Zapf of Glenmoore, PA; her step-daughter, Sandra Marie Zapf & husband, companion, Brad Miley of Quakertown, PA; her six step-grandchildren – Robert, Randi, Christopher, Aaron, Scott, & Sarah; her step-great-granddaughter, Cambria Zapf; her two nieces, Christine Cumberledge of Telford, PA, Patricia Cumberledge of Greenville, PA; and her two nephews, David Schirmer & wife, Nancy of Pennsburg, PA, Kenneth Schirmer & wife, Deborah of Homosassa, FL.

In addition to her parents and husbands, Marilynn was preceded in death by her two sisters, Judith Schirmer & Susan Bennet; her grandson, Richard Finger, Jr.; her step-daughter, Monica Linda Ahmed; and her step-grandson, Robert McCormick.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at 2:30 pm at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940.

Burial will take place at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
