Mark Gordon Carpenter, 60, of Perkasie, PA passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Grand View Hospital.
He was the loving husband of Sharon (Stuebing) Carpenter for 30 years. Mark was born in Abington, PA to Jean (Dahmer) Carpenter of Sellersville, PA and the late Richard "Dick" Gordon Carpenter.
He graduated from Central Bucks East High School, class of 1981.
Mark worked as a shop floor controller for Crane Company (formerly known as Chempump Division of Teikoku USA) in Warrington, Pennsylvania. He then worked as the manager of quality assurance for Biggs Tool & Die Company in Warminster, PA until retiring in 2017.
Mark was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1539 in Sellersville and a member of the Keelersville Club in Perkasie.
He loved being in the outdoors and spent his time fishing, camping, hunting for rocks and Indian artifacts. Mark also loved traveling and spending time at the cabin in Bushkill, PA. He enjoyed cooking, playing the guitar, bird watching, and listening to all types of music. Mark loved his rescue dogs, Panda & Bunny.
He was an independent, hardworking, kind, dependable man who had a great sense of humor.
In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by his daughter, Sara Jean Carpenter & companion, Frank Goreé of Mckinleyville, CA and his brother, Richard "Rick" Grant Carpenter & wife, Lora Beth of Knoxville, TN.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 11:00 am at Anders-Detweiler Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 E. Broad St., Souderton, PA 18964.
Burial will take place immediately following the service at Doylestown Cemetery.
