Mary Anne (Nice) Kratz , 77, of Hatfield, formerly of Kulpsville, PA went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at Abington-Lansdale Hospital.

She was the loving wife of Abram N. Kratz for 59 years. Mary Anne was born in Sellersville, PA to the late Paul L. Nice and Sara (Musselman) Nice.

She was a graduate of Souderton High School, class of 1961. Mary Anne was employed as an Administrative Assistant for Franconia Mennonite Conference Center, Souderton, PA for 25 years. She was also an Administrative Assistant for Line Lexington Mennonite Church and then for Lansdale Pediatric.

She was an attender of Keystone Fellowship, Skippack, PA.

Mary Anne was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be remembered for her cooking, baking and sewing. She loved playing games and doing jigsaw puzzles. Mary Anne enjoyed spending time with her numerous friends who she considered just like family. She appreciated experiencing the beauty of God's creation in her backyard. Mary Anne especially enjoyed summer family vacations to the beach with her entire immediate family for more than 30 years.

In addition to her husband, Abe, she is survived by her son, Abram Jay Kratz and wife Mary Beth of Boca Raton, FL, her two daughters, Wendy Sue Kratz of Telford, PA and Trina Nicole Stewart and husband Bill of Muncy, PA; her sister, Linda and husband Larry Godshall of Souderton, PA, her brother, Paul Nice and wife Shari of Telford, PA; her seven granddaughters, Jacklyn (Jeff) Cramp, Rochelle Hange, Victoria Hange, Aubrielle Kratz, Eleaya Kratz, Kassondra Kratz, Kyla Stewart and a grandson, A.J. Kratz; her four great-grandchildren, Alexis, Bradly, Carleigh, and Addison Cramp.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 11:00 am at Towamencin Mennonite Church, 1980 Sumneytown Pike, Kulpsville, PA 19443 where friends may meet with the family from 9 to 11 am. Seating will be limited in the sanctuary, but there will be limited overflow seating in the Fellowship Hall with a livestream of the service. Burial will take place at Franconia Mennonite Cemetery immediately following.

There will be an opportunity for those not able to attend the service to meet with the family at Abe and Mary Anne's house at 478 Derstine Road, Hatfield, PA 19440 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm.
