Mildred "Millie" F. (Moyer) Trauger , 85, of Hatfield, Pennsylvania, entered into rest on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at her residence.

She was the beloved wife of Norman W. Trauger, Jr., with whom she shared 67 years of marriage. Born on March 29, 1940, in Franconia, Pennsylvania, Mildred was the daughter of the late Walter B. Moyer and the late Stella (Freed) Moyer.

Mildred attended Franconia Elementary School and Souderton High School. Her employment included work at the former Sun-Lite Shop in Souderton, where she met the love of her life. After marrying in 1959, Norman and Mildred spent two years in 1-W Service in Denver, Colorado.

Mildred was a devoted wife and mother, raising four children. Later, she also had various jobs, including working at Roger's Road Stand and serving as a nanny.

Mildred was a long-time member of Deep Run Mennonite Church East, where she served as elder, bible school teacher, youth leader, and quilter. She loved the Lord and lived out her faith in many ways. She volunteered at Care and Share Thrift Shoppes for 50 years and treasured the special bonds she made there. She loved making new friends and cherished those relationships.

Mildred had many hobbies and interests. She was a skilled seamstress and quilter. She enjoyed crocheting, hand-crafting cards, making jewelry, and stamping. During retirement, she and her husband enjoyed RV travel and cruises, visiting all 50 states and several trips to Europe. They also spent 18 winters in sunny Tucson, Arizona.

She will be remembered as a loving, kind and caring woman, who enjoyed inviting people into her home and her life. She was a gifted cook and baker.

In addition to her husband, Mildred is survived by her four children: Sharon F. Ambrose and husband, Jeffrey of Orlando, FL; Carolyn M. Allebach and husband, Rodney, of Souderton, PA; Brian L. Trauger of South Portland, ME; Gary L. Trauger and wife Rachelle, of Sellersville, PA. She is also survived by ten grandchildren – Carolyn Vinal, Olivia Ambrose, Bethany Mulcahy, Emily Hills, Eliza Trauger, Nathaniel Trauger, David Trauger, Zachary Trauger, Evan Trauger, and McKade Trauger – along with one great-granddaughter, Charlotte Hills; and one brother, Earl F. Moyer and wife, Betty, of Tucson, AZ.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Deep Run Mennonite Church East, 350 Kellers Church Road, Perkasie, PA 18944, followed by a funeral service beginning at 11:00 am. This service will be livestreamed.

Interment will take place at Deep Run Mennonite Church East Cemetery in Perkasie, PA.
