Mildred D. (Delp) Willouer , 92, of Souderton, PA; formerly of Hatfield, PA, Quakertown, PA, & Hilltown, PA went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 18, 2025 at Souderton Mennonite Homes.
Mildred was the loving wife of the late Stanley M. Willouer for 61 years. She was born in Franconia Twp., PA to the late Hiram D. Delp and the late Anna R. (Detweiler) Delp.
Mildred worked as a processor for the former Lloyd Derstine's in Souderton. She then worked as a seamstress for the former Sun-Lite Shop in Souderton. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was then employed as a looper for the former Jacques DeLoux Sweater Factory in Sellersville, PA for 20 years. Lastly, she worked as a house cleaner for private residences in the local area.
Mildred was a lifetime member of Rockhill Mennonite Church in Telford, PA.
She loved spending time with her family and friends. She also loved entertaining guests in her home. She was an excellent cook and baker and was known for her roast beef dinners, shoo-fly pie, strawberry satin pie, and banana nut cake. She maintained an immaculate and massive vegetable garden and she enjoyed freezing and canning. She loved singing and sang with her husband in the Messengers Quartet. She enjoyed crocheting, cleaning, word search, jigsaw and crossword puzzles, traveling, camping, board games especially Scrabble & Rook, and annual trips to Haines City, Florida. Above all else, she loved spending time and watching the grandchildren.
Mildred was a feisty, hardworking, loyal, loving woman who had a great sense of humor and was devoted to her Lord.
She is survived by her seven children, Diane D. Beltz & husband, David of Telford, PA, Marilyn D. Walsh & husband, Jim of Telford, PA, Stanley D. Willouer, Jr. and wife, Terre of Hereford, PA, Kenneth D. Willouer & fiancé, Luz Morrow of Quakertown, PA, Beverly D. Moyer & husband, Nevin of Green Lane, PA, Brian D. Willouer & wife, Shelley of Jefferson City, MO, Brenda D. Moyer of Telford, PA; her 22 grandchildren; her 21 great-Grandchildren; and her brother-in-law, William "Bill" Freed of Souderton, PA.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mildred was preceded in death by her 10 siblings, Willis D. Delp, Naomi D. Delp, Alvin D. Delp, Wilmer D. Delp, Jacob D. Delp, Irene D. Delp, Leroy D. Delp, Anna D. Freed, Eva D. Delp, Paul Hiram D. Delp, and her son-in-law, Brett A. Moyer.
A viewing will be held on Friday, May 23, 2025 from 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm at Souderton Mennonite Homes, 207 W. Summit Street, Souderton, PA 18964, followed by a funeral service at 3:00 pm.
A private burial will take place at Rockhill Mennonite Cemetery.
