Nanalee "Nan" Alexander Ruth , 90, of Quakertown, PA; formerly of Perkasie, PA & Sellersville, PA went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at The Village at LifeQuest in Quakertown, PA.

She was the loving wife of the late Ralph Landis Ruth for 62 years. Nan was born in Abington, PA to the late Elbert R. Alexander and the late Jeanette S. (Tagg) Alexander.

She graduated from Abington High School in Abington, PA, class of 1950. Nan then attended Moore College of Art in Philadelphia, PA.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. Nan worked for Fredericks Flowers in Souderton and Silk & Fresh Florist in Lansdale.

She was a founding member of both Lansdale and Providence Presbyterian Churches where she was an active volunteer and designed and arranged the alter flowers for Providence for more than 30 years.

Nan was a fine artist excelling in graphic design and painting. She enjoyed sewing and quilting for her grandchildren. Nan also enjoyed crocheting baby blankets for all of her great-grandchildren as well as for the babies in her church. She loved playing board games with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nan traveled nationally and internationally and loved to read. She was a supporter of the Philadelphia Orchestra and local community concerts.

Nan was a strong, hardworking, compassionate woman who had a good sense of humor.

She is survived by her three daughters, Judith R. Bishop & husband, Roger of Lewes, DE, Sandra L. Kheradi & husband, Farokh of Wayne, PA, Victoria L. Crouthamel & husband, Kenneth of Perkasie, PA; her son, Timothy C. Ruth & wife, Janel of Sellersville, PA; her eight grandchildren – Amy, Ryan, Travis, Alexander, Cameron, Amanda, Jordan, & Brayden; her six great-grandchildren – Mason, Nash, Lennox, Easton, Wells, & Rhys; and her great-great-grandchildren – Wesson & Calla.

In addition to her parents and husband, Nan was preceded in death by her three sons, Garry S. Ruth, Eric A. Ruth, & Philip J. Ruth and her brothers, Nicholas, John, & James Alexander.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Providence Presbyterian Church, 2200 Krammes Road, Milford Twp., 18951 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm and on Friday, April 1, 2022 at Providence Presbyterian Church from 10:00 am - 11:00 am.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, April 1, 2022 at 11:00 am at Providence Presbyterian Church, 2200 Krammes Road, Quakertown (Milford Township), PA 18951.

Burial will take place at Line Lexington Mennonite Cemetery.
