Nancy L. Leatherman , 68, of Souderton, PA; formerly of Hatfield, PA & Telford, PA went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at Souderton Mennonite Homes.

She was born in Sellersville, PA to the late Samuel D. Leatherman and the late Ada B. (Lewis) Leatherman.

Nancy graduated from Christopher Dock High School, class of 1972. She was employed as a plant worker for the former Longacres Poultry in Franconia, PA for 36 years, until retiring in 2009. Nancy then worked as a caregiver for local home care service companies for 10 years.

She was a member of Franconia Mennonite Church where she formerly served as a pre-school Sunday school teacher.

Nancy enjoyed hymn sings, gospel concerts, and traveling with her friends. She had a caring spirit and enjoyed socializing and visiting with people.

Nancy is survived by her two brothers, David L. Leatherman of Souderton, PA, Ralph L. Leatherman & wife, Ann of Souderton, PA; her 10 nieces and nephews; her numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; and her numerous great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Clyde L. Leatherman; her sister, Mary Leatherman; and her sister-in-law, Beverly A. Leatherman.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Souderton Mennonite Homes, 207 W. Summit St., Souderton, PA 18964 from 9:30 am - 11:00 am, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am.

Burial will take place at Franconia Mennonite Cemetery.
