Obituary

Nancy Jean (Devine) Nau , 92, of Lansdale, PA; formerly of Souderton, PA entered into rest on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at Dock Woods Community.

Nancy was the loving wife of the late Arthur "Art" P. Nau for 66 years. She was born in Columbia, PA to the late David A. Devine and the late Anna (McCall) Devine.

Nancy graduated from Columbia High School in Columbia, PA, class of 1950. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She worked in a greenhouse in the local area and also worked as an assistant in the library of Souderton School District.

Nancy was a former chair and member of the Mother's Club for the Souderton High School Football Team. She volunteered at Grand View Hospital and with Meals on Wheels at the Senior Adult Activity Center of Indian Valley (now known as Generations of Indian Valley) in Souderton.

Nancy enjoyed gardening, singing, listening to Big Band music, baking, cooking, crafts, and going to dinner theaters and concerts.

She was a very caring woman who had a beautiful voice and a great sense of humor

Nancy is survived by her five sons, Gerald "Gerry" A. Nau & wife, Debra "Deb" of Doylestown, PA, Gary A. Nau & wife, Regina of Gilbertsville, PA, Martin "Marty" A. Nau of Alexandria, VA, Bradley A. Nau & wife, Susan of Lancaster, PA, Eric A. Nau & wife, Evangeline "Eva" of Lititz, PA; her four granddaughters – Christy Nau of Perkiomenville, PA, Morgan Cooper & husband, Jason of Doylestown, PA, Alexandra Nau of KY, Sophia Nau of Lititz, PA; her great-granddaughter, Ada Cooper of Doylestown, PA; and her great-grandson, Cole Cooper of Doylestown, PA.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her twins daughters, Karen & Sharon Nau; her six sisters, Sara Devine, Margaret Leber, Kathleen Devine, Emma Conley, Gloria Douglas, Lorena Devine; and her five brothers, William Bailey, David Devine, James Devine, George Devine, and Richard Devine.

Inurnment will take place at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
