Nazmy Z. Antoan , 85, of Warrington, Pennsylvania, peacefully went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Doylestown Hospital.

Born in Cairo, Egypt, Nazmy was the beloved son of the late Zaki Antoan and the late Zahiya Tawfik. He was the devoted husband of Narges Z. (Bishay) Antoan, with whom he shared 60 loving years of marriage.

Nazmy graduated from high school in Egypt before earning an bachelor's degree from Alexandria University in Egypt. He later continued his education in the United States, receiving his master's degree in engineering from Villanova University.

Throughout his distinguished career, Nazmy worked as an electrical engineer for the Tobyhanna Army Depot in Coolbaugh Township, Pennsylvania, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Middle East District in Saudi Arabia, and the Naval Air Development Center in Warminster, Pennsylvania.

A faithful member of St. George Coptic Orthodox Church of Greater Philadelphia in Norristown, Nazmy served as a deacon and generously volunteered his time and talents to his church community.

Nazmy enjoyed playing backgammon, and in his younger years in Egypt, he loved playing soccer and later enjoyed watching matches on television. He was an avid reader of the Bible and enjoyed watching classic western movies. Above all else, Nazmy cherished his family, his church, and his work.

He will be remembered as a hardworking, generous, and charitable man who sacrificed greatly to provide for and support his family.

In addition to his loving wife, Nazmy is survived by his two sons, Emad N. Antoan and his wife, Tracy, of Cheltenham, Pennsylvania, and George Antoan of Warrington, Pennsylvania; his three beloved grandchildren, Jordann, Damian, and Mariss; his three sisters; and his brother.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his three brothers.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. George Coptic Orthodox Church of Greater Philadelphia, 411 DeKalb Street, Norristown, Pennsylvania 19401.

Burial will follow at George Washington Memorial Park in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania.
