Nicholas M. "Nick" Kwasniuk of Salford Township peacefully passed away on August 13, 2021 following a courageous battle with coronary disease and organ failure.  He was 71 years of age and a 1968 graduate of Philadelphia's Cardinal Dougherty High School.

Following his graduation from Cardinal Dougherty, Mr. Kwasniuk began a 10 year career in the retail food business after which he commenced a second career as a building contractor.  A talented and self-taught electrician, carpenter, and plumber, he worked throughout the tri-state area as a successful independent contractor where he gained the moniker "Nick the Hammer". Mr. Kwasniuk was employed for a time by the Altemose Construction Company in Hatfield.  He imposed on himself the duty to provide workmanship of the highest quality.

Mr. Kwasniuk constructed and maintained numerous facilities throughout the area.  An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, model trains, gardening, restoring his 1965 Chevrolet Corvette, and Tennessee Blue Grass music.

A dedicated family man, Mr. Kwasniuk was completely unselfish in sharing his time, work and considerable abilities with his family for whom he had the deepest love and affection.

Mr. Kwasniuk is survived by Lynn (Snyder), his beloved wife of fifty years, children Nicholas Kwasniuk and Natalie Fahs, and grandchildren, Noah, Jenna, and Lucas.  He is also survived by his sisters, Barbara "Bobbie" Kwasniuk and Georgiann "Gigi" Hylan.
