Norman "Norm" Joseph Weiss , 82, of Souderton, PA; formerly of Telford, PA went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 26, 2020 surrounded by his family at his residence.

He was the loving husband of Donna (Leister) Weiss for 60 years. Norm was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Norman Albert Weiss and the late Catherine B. (Smith) Weiss.

He graduated from Northeast Catholic High School in Philadelphia, class of 1956. Norm worked as a self-employed Insurance Agent for Weiss & Associates in Souderton for more than 40 years.

He was a member and past-president of the Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Indian Valley Country Club. Norm was a member of Immanuel Leidy's Church where he served as an elder, a past president of the consistory, taught adult & youth Sunday school, and led a small group. He volunteered with Meals on Wheels and at the greeting desk at Generations in Souderton.

Norm loved spending time with the family at Lake Wallenpaupack. He enjoyed golfing, word puzzles, and watching classic movies. In his younger years, Norm played baseball and later was a coach for his 2 sons in little league and adult league. He enjoyed monthly breakfast with the 'Over-The-Hill' gang.

Norm was a devoted family man who was generous and had a great sense of humor. He was also a mentor, an encourager to others, and had a way of making other people's lives better.

In addition to his wife, Norm is survived by: his three children, Michael Joseph Weiss & wife, Stephanie of Harleysville, PA, Matthew John Weiss & wife, Tammy of Harleysville, PA, Melissa Jo Gaber & husband, Garry of Austin, TX; his former daughter-in-law, Mary Beth (Leidy) Musselman; his eight grandchildren – Angela, Kyle, Valerie, Kevin, Mitchell, Eric, Xander, & Samuel; his six great-grandchildren – Brody, Mallory, Bailey, Brecken, Makai, & Bowen; and his brother, John Weiss of Tamaqua, PA.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jack Weiss.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at 11:00 am at Immanuel Leidy's Church, 273 W. Cherry Lane, Souderton, Pennsylvania 18964. Following the service, there will be an informal visitation with the family.

A private burial will take place at Immanuel Leidy's Church Cemetery.
