Patricia "Pat" Marie (O'Donnell) McGee , 91, of Souderton, PA; formerly of Bridgeport, PA went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 17, 2025 at her residence.

She was born in Hazleton, PA to the late Peter O'Donnell and the late Margaret (Dugan) Sprissler.

Pat graduated from St. Gabriel's High School in Hazleton, PA, class of 1951. She then graduated from Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia with a Master's degree in Education.

Pat was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the former St. Joseph's Hospital in Hazleton, PA and then for the former Medical College Hospital of Pennsylvania. She then worked as a teacher for St. John the Baptist School in Manayunk, PA and later for the former Kennedy Kenrick Catholic High School in Norristown, PA.

Pat was a member of the former Worship Center in Roxborough, Philadelphia, PA. She was a member of the Catholic High School Teacher's Association.

Pat loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. In her younger years, she enjoyed dancing, playing the piano, and was on the high school debate team. Pat loved traveling nationally and internationally.

She was a hardworking, caring, and compassionate woman who had a good sense of humor.

Pat is survived by her three children, John Joseph McGee, Jr. of Souderton, PA, Margaret "Meg" Mary Childs & husband, Richard of Harleysville, PA, James Robert McGee & wife, Diane of Cape Coral, FL; her seven grandchildren – Jacob, Joshua, Caleb, Luke, Joy, Jason, & Jessica; and her six great-grandchildren – Aubrey, Olivia, Ethan, Zachary, Jesse, Felicity.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, John Joseph McGee, Sr. and her infant grandson, Justin McGee.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Anders-Detweiler Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 E. Broad St., Souderton, PA 18964, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am.

Burial will take place at Immanuel Leidy's Church Cemetery.
