Rae Ann (Buck) Glass, 86, of Souderton, Pennsylvania, formerly of Warminster, Pennsylvania, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, surrounded by her two daughters, at Grand View Hospital.

She was the loving wife of the late Charles “Chuck” D. Glass, with whom she shared 64 years of marriage. Rae Ann was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to the late Olaf Raymond Buck and the late Ilo Jeanette (Haldersen) Buck.

Rae Ann graduated from Central High School in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in the Class of 1958. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family and her faith.

Throughout her life, Rae Ann worked as a Fotomat clerk in Southampton, Pennsylvania, and later as a clerk at a Christian bookstore in Roxborough, Pennsylvania. She was a former member of Grace Gospel Chapel in Plumsteadville, where she served as an Awana leader and faithfully participated in many other areas of ministry. She was a current member of Living Hope Community Church in Perkasie, where she helped prepare for communion and served as a hostess for the small group ministry.

Rae Ann was also a member of the Christian Women’s Club in Doylestown. She generously volunteered at Souderton Mennonite Homes and served on the committee supporting those who resided in the cottages there.

She enjoyed sewing, reading, ceramics, bowling, and dancing, but some of her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Rae Ann will be remembered for her caring and compassionate heart, her quiet and humble nature, her wonderful sense of humor, and her faithful and selfless spirit of service to others. She was a loving woman whose gentle presence and steadfast faith touched the lives of many.

She is survived by her two daughters, Kim M. Detweiler and her husband, Douglas, of Quakertown, Pennsylvania, and Kelli A. Benner and her husband, Brian, of Liberty, Pennsylvania; eight grandchildren, Rebekah Detweiler, Quinn Detweiler and his wife, Lauren, Heath Detweiler and his wife, Haley, Cara Hayes and her husband, Joel, Blair Detweiler, Noah Benner, Isaac Detweiler, and Sudan Benner; and five great-grandchildren, Sybil Detweiler, Kore Hayes, Jesse Hayes, Asa Hayes, and Charlie Detweiler.

In addition to her parents and husband, Rae Ann was preceded in death by her two grandchildren, Joshua and Nathanael Detweiler, and her brother, John Buck.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October [date], 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Living Hope Community Church, 22H West Route 313, Perkasie, Pennsylvania 18944, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 11:00 a.m. The service will also be livestreamed.

A private inurnment will take place at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, where Rae Ann will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband.
