Ralph M. Moyer , 96, of Harleysville, PA; formerly of Souderton, PA, Springfield, MO and Telford, PA entered into rest on Sunday, April 12, 2020 at Peter Becker Community.

He was the loving husband of the late Sadie (Wile) Moyer for 70 years. Ralph was born in Lower Salford, PA to the late Mr. & Mrs. Lizzie Moyer.

He graduated from Souderton High School, class of 1941. Ralph was a self-employed farmer of chickens and turkeys on his 35 acre farm in Harleysville for many years. In 1960, he was employed to program the computers at the former Longacre Poultry in Franconia, PA and later worked as a comptroller for a total duration of 28 yrs.

Ralph was a member of Towamencin Mennonite Church.

He and Sadie loved spending time together and they would often entertain guests in their home. They also enjoyed traveling together which included summer family trips to Virginia Beach, VA and going out to Shady Maple for their birthdays. In the 1980's, they traveled with a tour group throughout Paris, Belgium, Netherlands (Holland), Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and Italy.

Ralph was a good provider for the family while mother stayed home raising the boys. He also enjoyed taking his children out to eat at local restaurants. Ralph loved the outdoors and enjoyed gardening, flowers, plants, nature, and walks in the park. He also enjoyed playing the guitar and the organ, flower shows, going to Hershey, pecans, and Chick-fil-a. Ralph was a big animal lover and had a special place in his heart for dogs. He loved playing with his son's dog, Tammy, the therapy dog, Mimi, and dog sitting for people who went on vacation.

Ralph was a hardworking and honorable man who always kept his word. He was a loving father and a creative problem solver. Ralph was very sharp and even read medical books to research the best way to take care of his health. He always appreciated things that were done for him and would express his feelings by telling others how thankful he truly was.

Ralph is survived by his two sons, Leon Moyer of Fort Myers Beach, FL & Steven Moyer of Warren, VT; his granddaughter, Rachael Countryman of Billings, MO; and his two great-granddaughters.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at 10:00 am at Towamencin Mennonite Church Cemetery, Route 63, Kulpsville, Pennsylvania 19443.

Burial will take place at Towamencin Mennonite Cemetery.
