Ralph S. Novak , 78, of Perkasie, PA; formerly of Tenafly, NJ & Chicago, IL entered into rest on Friday, August 20, 2021 at his residence.

He was born in Chicago, IL to the late John W. Novak and the late Florence J. (Schaubel) Novak.

Ralph graduated from Steinmetz High School in Chicago, IL, class of 1961. He then graduated from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL with a master's degree in Journalism. Ralph served with the 25th Infantry Division in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked in newspaper industry in the Ohio area. Ralph was employed as a journalist for People Magazine in Manhattan, NY for 36 years.

He loved the Chicago Cubs and was a fan since childhood. Ralph also loved listening to jazz music. He was an avid reader of books and enjoyed watching old movies.

Ralph was an independent man who had a great sense of humor and was steadfast in his ways.

He is survived by his sister, Nancy A. Novak of Perkasie, PA.

In Addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his two sons, Andrew Novak and Thaddeus Novak.
