Randy A. Haydt , 66, of Zionsville, PA; formerly of Bethlehem, PA & Richlandtown, PA passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024 at his residence.
Randy was born in Palmerton, PA to the late Allen Paul Haydt and the late Frieda M. (Strohl) Galley. He graduated from Southern Lehigh High School in Center Valley, PA class of 1976.
Randy worked in maintenance for the former American Olean Tile Company in Quakertown, PA. He was then employed as an electrician for Evert Electric Inc. in Limeport, PA. He worked in maintenance for the former Paul Associates in Lansdale, PA and later worked as the foreman for the former D&D Maintenance in Coopersburg/Limeport, PA.
Randy loved being outdoors in nature and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and hiking. He also enjoyed watching the NASCAR races, shooting darts, playing cards, shooting pool and listening to music especially classic rock.
Family was everything to him and he was always there when you needed him. It was very important to him to teach as well as do. He wanted his children/grandchildren to always be able to stand on their own two feet but know he was there whenever they needed. He loved storytelling and reminiscing about his past. He also loved to FaceTime with his great-grandchildren. Randy had a big heart, loved animals, was full of life, and enjoyed being at home. He was a hardworking, dependable, organized man who was a jack of all trades and was very routine in his life.
