Refaat Narouz , 83, of Hatfield, PA; formerly of Lansdowne, PA went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at Grand View Hospital.

He was the loving husband of Soad (Ylsan) Narouz for 54 years. Refaat was born in Qena, Egypt to the late Manyly Narouz and the late Amerisa Narouz.

He graduated high school in Egypt. Refaat than graduated college in Egypt with a bachelor's degree in business. He was employed as a director for the Health Department in Egypt for 35 years.

Refaat was a member of St. George Coptic Orthodox Church of Greater Philadelphia in Norristown, PA

He enjoyed swimming and watching sports.

Refaat was a devoted father, a loving person, who had a good heart and was open minded.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Abeer Narouz & husband, Elkasan of Lansdale, PA; his son, Effat Narouz & wife, Magdolin of Collegeville, PA; his two brothers, Talaat Narouz & Rafaat Narouz, both of Qena, Egypt; and his sister, Gamalat Narouz of Qena, Egypt.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 1:00 pm at St. Mary & St. Kyrillos Coptic Orthodox Church, 2500 Unionville Pike, Hatfield, PA 19440.

Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery of West Conshohocken.
