Obituary

Richard "Rick" D. DiLaurenzo , 72, of Perkasie, PA went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Grand View Hospital.

He was the loving husband of Jo A. (Miller) DiLaurenzo for 11 years. Rick was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Richard Joseph DiLaurenzo and the late Rachel (Coraluzzi) DiLaurenzo.

He graduated from La Salle College High School in Wyndmoor, PA, class of 1970. Rick then graduated from La Salle College in Philadelphia, PA, class of 1974, with a bachelor's degree.

Throughout his working lifetime, he sold long term care insurance doing business as Insurance Marketing.

Rick was a member of Pennridge Christian Fellowship in Blooming Glen, PA. He served in prison ministry under the organizations of 'Prison Mentoring' and 'Humanities Hands'.

Rick loved teaching and ministering to people in prison. He enjoyed doing investments, playing ping pong, cooking, and traveling.

Rick was a hardworking, encouraging man who always had a positive attitude. He always had a smile on his face, enjoyed making people laugh, and liked to be known as "Handsome Rick". He had a strong faith in the Lord and delighted in sharing the goodness of God.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his granddaughter, Alyna Jaramillo of Marlton, NJ; his grandson, Adam Jay DiLaurenzo of Marlton, NJ; Ashley Jaramillo, the mother of his grandchildren; his four siblings, Joanne Karbach of North Wales, PA, James "Jim" DiLaurenzo of New Hope, PA, Robert "Bob" DiLaurenzo of Doylestown, PA, and Diane DiLaurenzo of Chalfont, PA.

In addition to his parents, Rick was preceded in death by his son, Richard J. DiLaurenzo and his brother-in-law, Robert "Bob" Karbach.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2025 from 9:00 am - 10:00 am at Pennridge Christian Fellowship, 720 Blooming Glen Road, Blooming Glen, PA 18911, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 am.

Burial will take place at Blooming Glen Mennonite Church Cemetery.
