Richard J. DuBois , 81, of Sellersville, PA, formerly of Andover, ME, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at his residence.

He was the loving husband of Marjorie (McKay) DuBois for 55 years. Richard was born in Mexico, Maine to the late Edward DuBois and the late Melvena (Gould) DuBois.

Richard attended public school in Mexico, Maine and then worked for the Diamond Match Company. He was drafted and served in the U.S. Army from 1963 to 1965, including three months in Vietnam. He returned to Diamond and later worked for Ethan Allen as a saw filer and watchman. He retired in 2005.

Richard could always be counted on to lighten the mood by joking with family and friends. He had an inventive mind which he employed building a house in Andover and repairing guns. He loved hunting, target practicing, country music, TV, McDonald's, and Sunday school at Crosspoint Baptist Church in Souderton, PA.

In addition to his wife Marjorie he is survived by his two daughters Shannon DuBois of Buffalo, WY and Erin Ensinger and husband Ryan of Sellersville, PA; his son Craig DuBois of Broomfield, CO; his five granddaughters Kilah, Summer, Sydney, Serena and Delaney; his brother James DuBois and life partner Oakley of Reno, NV; and his sister Doris Howes and husband Frank of Brunswick, ME.

Private memorial services will be held at a future date.
