Obituary

Richard Earl Fisher , 85, of Telford, PA was surrounded by loved ones at his home when he left us to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 21, 2020.

He was the loving husband of Sarah (Moyer) Fisher and they would have celebrated 60 years of marriage on December 3, 2020. Richard was born in Ivyland, PA to the late William Roy and Eva (Woodbury) Fisher.

Richard was a Pennridge High School class of 1954 graduate.  He was employed as a truck driver for Coca Cola in North Wales and Philadelphia for 36 years.

Richard was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church.  He was previously a member of Grace Mennonite Church and was a charter member of Indian Valley Mennonite Church.

He volunteered with Mennonite Disaster Service, taking multiple trips to provide hurricane relief. With Missions to the World, he traveled to West Virginia many times to build a summer camp. Richard enjoyed traveling throughout the US and made many road trips with his family. He enjoyed gardening. Baseball was a passion. He played as a teen and for his high school team, coached his sons' ball teams and later enjoyed watching his grandsons play.

In addition to his wife Sarah, he is survived by his nine children: Todd (Molly) Fisher of Lansdale, Greg (Heidi) Fisher of Telford,  Lori (Jamie) Davidson of Telford,  Lisa (Jim) Fecondo of Telford,  Liz Billemeyer of Perkasie, Suzanne (Sean) Myers of Sellersville,  Clayton (Hope) Fisher of Sellersville,  David Fisher (fiancée Nicole Morgan) of Blooming Glen, Crystal (Charles Giambrone) Fisher of Pennsburg. Richard has twenty seven grandchildren: Christopher, Eric, and Rachael Fisher; Greg and Hannah Fisher; Jeremy, Austin, and Alisyn Davidson; Andrew, Joshua, Kaleigh, Anthony, Nicholas, and Sarah Fecondo; John and Jenna Billemeyer; Morgan, Madison, Gabrielle, Grace and Isaac Myers; Damon Waslin and Bryce Fisher; Gabriel, Josiah, Kinsey, and Callie Reptsik.  He has six great grandchildren: Aiden, Avery, Liana, Cordelia, Ezekiel, and London.

He has one surviving sister, Gwen Ceniviva of Hatboro. He was preceded in death by his siblings: Lawrence "Pete" Fisher, Marjorie Crouthamel, Shirley Kirkhum, Mary Leuz, Donald Fisher, Merle Boyd, Glenn Fisher.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 28th, 2020 at 12:00 pm at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 310 Covenant Lane, Harleysville, PA 19438 where friends may meet with the family from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm.
