The family business was also involved in various market stands including the famous Reading Terminal Market in Philadelphia until 1997. Over the years, the business has evolved to include catering services and is now solely based in Blooming Glen.

Flying was a big passion for Bob as he loved all kinds of airplanes. He was a pilot for over 20 years and was a certified Airframe and Engine mechanic. He also enjoyed farm tractors and vintage trucks. He was an avid reader especially of flying magazines. Bob enjoyed being in the outdoors including boating, waterskiing, and camping. He had an excellent knowledge of the history of Blooming Glen and would often offer his expertise in this area to the community. He also loved following sports, especially the EAGLES and the Phillies.
