Robert K. Shepherd , 86, of Ottsville, Pennsylvania passed away on Monday, September 5, 2022 at his residence.

He was born in Easton, Pennsylvania to the late Charles R. Shepherd and the late Agnes Marie (Porter) Shepherd.

Bob graduated from Belvidere High School in New Jersey, class of 1954. He worked at the local supermarket in Easton, PA. Bob was employed as a unit clerk for Doylestown Hospital for more than 25 years.  He had many stories and fond memories of his time at the hospital.  He lit up any time he would talk about the way they "used" to do things.

Bob spent hours doing beautiful needlepoint and picked out designs specifically for his friends.  He loved being a handler of dogs & cats and attending their event shows. Bob also loved being outdoors doing yard work – Hands in the dirt, face in the sun and heart with nature.

Later in life Bob enjoyed feeding the chipmunks (or Chippys as he called them).

Bob became very close with his neighbors Dan and Dina and their children Luke, Angelina and Dominic.  He spent many years enjoying attending their life and sports events and just being part of their lives.

He was a hardworking, generous, loyal man who would give the shirt off his back.  Anyone that knew Bob was well aware he always told it how it was.

Bob is survived by many nieces and nephews, but always had a special place in his heart for his niece, Gayle Baty of Irving, TX.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his eight siblings, Lorraine, Ben, Bill, Chick, Russ, Caroline, Lotus and Larry.

At the request of Bob, there will be NO services. Please just take a moment to remember a funny story and smile.
