Robert "Bob" S. Ricci, 64, of Gilbertsville, PA, formerly of Marlton, NJ passed away suddenly surrounded by his family and departed to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, PA.

Bob was the loving husband of Sandy for 35 years.  Bob was born in Waterbury, Connecticut on July 4, 1956 to the late Robert Ricci of Williamsburg, VA and Dorothy (Yarosis) Ricci of Massillon, OH.

He was a graduate of Shawnee High School, Medford NJ, class of 1974.  Bob served in the US Navy as a Submariner, serving out of Groton, CT and Norfolk, VA from 1974 to 1978. He graduated from Lincoln Tech Institute with a Degree in Computer Systems Technology.

Bob was employed as a Senior Computer Engineer for Hewlett-Packard Co. for 37 years.

Bob was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who loved nothing more than spending time with his sons and granddaughter.  He enjoyed coaching and was a participant in Boyertown Soccer/Baseball organizations as a coach for 12 years as well as a referee for the U.S. Soccer Federation where he frequently refereed with his son, Tyler.  Bob was a member of the Boyertown Rod and Gun Club where he enjoyed fishing and sport shooting. He also enjoyed classic rock music and both classic and modern muscle cars.  He had a passion for music, and in his earlier years was a naturally talented drummer and played the guitar as well.  He loved fishing and was a semi-pro bass fisherman in his earlier years.  He had a love of animals and passed this passion on to his sons and granddaughter.  Bob was a firm believer that no home was complete without a dog or two.  He and his family would often rescue wildlife, nurse them back to health.

In addition to his wife, Sandy, Bob is survived by sons, Tyler J. Ricci of Pottstown, PA, and Nicholas C. Ricci of Gilbertsville, PA; brothers, Michael J. Ricci (Linda) of Collegeville, PA, and Charles M. Ricci (Anne) of Williamsburg, VA; step-sister, Lori Katsaras (Gus) of Massillon, OH; granddaughter, Zoey J. Ricci; nephews Matthew J. Ricci, M. Brett Ricci (Angela), Ryan Ricci and niece Gabrielle Ricci.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, July 8 at 5:00 p.m. at the Fairview Village Church at 3044 W. Germantown Pike, Eagleville, PA 19403, followed by a reception where family and friends can share their memories of Bob with one another.
