Obituary

Robert S. "Bob"  Unger , 93, of Whitehall, formerly of Souderton, PA entered into rest on Friday, April 30, 2021 at his residence.

He was the loving husband of Phyllis Unger for 60 years. Robert was born in Fullerton, PA to the late Stanley Patrick and Arlene Unger.

A graduate of Whitehall High School class of 1946, Robert then entered the Army Air Corp. Serving in Guam, he was an expert in electronics. After his discharge he was a repairman for RCA, Allentown during the 1950's. During the 1960's and late 80's he was an electronic engineer for Philco-Ford. Bob also taught an advanced math class at a Temple extension college in the 60's. He retired in 1992.

He was a former member of Bethany Bible Fellowship Church, Hatfield, PA. and a former member of Willow Grove Lions Club. Bob enjoyed dancing. He learned to dance at Arthur Murray's School of Dance.

He is survived by his three daughters, Robin H. Maldonado and husband Pedro of Whitehall, PA, Kara J. Unger of Corpus Christi, TX; and Susan Easley of Del Rio, TX,  his son, Kiel Wm Unger of Bradenton, FL; his 12 grandchildren, Veronica, Louis, Matthew, Joshua, Laura, Noelle, Andrew, Dawn, Dakota, Cherokee, Gloria & Nicole. and his 20 great-grandchildren, Tiana, Ariana, Tatiana, Juliana, Christian, Xavier, Davin, Jaxon, Jemma,Josephine, Julian, Mason, Chase, Julia Carina, Carousella, Robert, Devin, Brianna and Angelo, and his great-great granddaughter, Olivia Grace; his sister, Darlene Asbath of Bethlehem, PA.

Robert enjoyed his work in electronics, loved doing Jig Saw puzzles. He and his late wife Phyllis enjoyed spending the fall season in Maine and New England States.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard and Mary Musselman who raised him.

A Graveside Service with military honors to be held this summer/fall at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, Pa 19002.
