Robert Forrest Walker , 92, of Souderton, PA; formerly of Philadelphia, PA passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021 at his residence.

He was the loving husband of Charlotte (Westerfield) Walker for 70 years. Robert was born in New York City to the late Robert Forrest Walker, Sr. and the late Lee (Jacobs) Walker.

A graduate of Mineola High School in Long Island, NY, class of 1945, he joined the United States Navy where he served for two years during World War II.

After returning home, Robert attended and graduated from Syracuse University, with a degree in Business Management. He worked for two years for DuPont in South Carolina until returning back to Philadelphia as Chief of Customer Service for the Philadelphia Water Department. Robert became the Administrative Assistant to the Water Commissioner for 35 years. He attended and graduated with a Master's Degree in Government Administration from the University of Penn.

Robert was a former member of the Roxborough Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia.

In addition to his wife, Charlotte, he is survived by his son, Peter Charles Walker and wife, Sharon of Coopersburg, PA; his two daughters, Karen Hancock and husband, Jay of Ellicott City, MD, Christine Walker of Santa Monica, CA; his five grandchildren – Sarah, Holly, Scott, Will, and Jimmy; and his 3 great-grandchildren – Darien, Mateo, and Nico.

Inurnment will take place at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to a charity of one's choice.
